On June 17, at 11:45 a.m., I will be taking part in an online panel organized by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. In the hope of making it clear that digitalization and the reshaping of industry can only work if the welfare state is revived and the privatization of further areas is reversed.
The Friedrich Ebert Foundation has invited me to a panel, for which anyone and everyone can register online.

There have been many discussions recently about the development that the welfare state should take. The pandemic has put the question all the more clearly on the agenda. So has digital networking, which in Germany lags poorly behind other countries.

In any case, the minimum prerequisite for this to change is a state-guaranteed infrastructure that does not leave us at the mercy of the digital corporations’ megalomania and ruthless pursuit of profit.

The panel starts at 11:45 a.m.
